It was my carriers interceptors that had clogged up his PC's exhaust vents.
JESUS CHRIST !!! Its a giant child !
he's also hung like a thoroughbred racehorse.
Gran Turismo 5 is without all doubt the best looking game on the PS3 from a technical perspective simply because it really is photorealistic.
As for Killzone 3 then its a notch up from number 2. The version we played on didnt have the final layer of polish on it but the texture detail and scope of the levels were very impressive. We do have a seperate video detailing my thoughts on Killzone 3 so stay tuned to www.dualshockers.com over the next few days.
Its a very different sort of 3D effect that suits the game more. In GT5 the 3D emphasis is more on your car or dashboard whereas on Motostorm Apocalypse the effect was more going into the screen - kinda like what you got in Avatar where it was more about the depth than things popping out at you.
Both look really good. If you want to impress people with pure graphics then show them Gran Turismo 5, if you want to impress people with all out spectacle then show them Motorstorm...
SIMULATOR :)
@Soda - its certainly a lot more stimulating than Forza mate.
Yeah i get that there is some kind of conflict going on i just wasnt sure if that was what had caused all the destruction in the first place or if people were now fighting to survive over whats left of the resources after some other catastrophe.
in some of the scenes where you drive through the tunnels you can actually see in the video gangs of people shooting at each other, Im betting there will probably be a trophy releating to killing X amount of gang dudes or something....
I couldnt tell you mate as i havent played Split Second. All i can say is that it plays like the other Motorstorm games so if you have ever played one of those then you can expect more of the same from the core driving.
Its really the enviromental stuff that sets this game apart, its like rally driving pushed into a new dimesnsion :)
Just to clarify before i start getting lynched by people ranting that Gran Turismo is the king of driving games then thats not what im talking about. Im talking about the cinematic nature of it which makes you feel like a small part of a very big world that is happening around you.
Yup, look in the top right corner of the screen.
Your nuts - Downloading titles is completely vible as Apple has demonstrated with both its games and music store. Also download only would put a complete stop to the PSP's main problem which is piracy.
I didnt say my reasoning was perfect as though i am some sort of ultimate being, i said it was perfectly logical as in it is not illogical. Whether you agree with the reasoning is your own choice but it is there nonetheless. Your own reasons for why Kinect will suceed are also perfectly logical - its simply a difference of opinion.
As for your question about why use an alternate control scheme then the answer is that in most cases it simply works better. Anyone who has play...
Wow, your a detective genius. You managed to go all the way to my website and find out this top secret information you should get a starring role in the next Alpha Protocol game.
Of course you completely overlooked the fact that i dont mention my own personal opinion on Kinect other than my thoughts that it will fail based on the perfectly logical reasoning i put in the article.
I actually did a bit of digging of my own and uncovered your bio - "Soda...
Your assuming it was intended to completely replace the old PSP whereas it is just another option.
I never owned a PSP until teh Go was released because i didnt want to carry around loads of little disks, just like i didnt want to carry CD's around so i bought an ipod.
Right now ive got about 10 top PSP titles on a device that is about the same size as my iphone and that to me makes it worth having.
I wouldnt ever want to play FPS games on a handheld so the current setup suits me fine.
The biggest selling games on handhelds are puzzle games & RPG's and they dont need 2 sticks.
You better believe it !
I used to rock at Starcraft but im gonna take my time with the single player before getting back into the online. I dont want to demoralise myself by getting my ass kicked by some noob zerg rush
Protoss FTW !
I prefer playing with headphones but then i got bollocked off my Mrs for ignoring the baby monitor, so now im just back on my surround sound - which wakes up the baby.
...sucks to be me
well said mate. The amount of hate the PSP gets is unreal when it is the best handheld for hardcore gamers.
Also i dont get all this second analogue stick crap - who wants to play FPS games on a handheld ?
When i see how much work and effort the devs have put into makin a game like this work on the Wii then all that springs to mind is - "awwww blesss, thats so cute"
No matter how good this game is it will always be in the shadow of any FPS on the 360 & PS3 so while i applaud the devs for trying i cannot understand why they would want to hobble their game by building it for the Wii.
